Specialised Training Programmes in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Validation)
The Specialised Training Programme in Pharmaceutical/Biologics Manufacturing (Validation) is a new initiative to train candidates for technical roles in the Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q), start-up and operation of new Pharmaceutical/Biologics Manufacturing facilities in Singapore.
The Programme adopts either company-sponsored In-Employment upgrading / Place-and-Train (PnT) or self-sponsored Train-and-Place (TnP) mode of delivery for new entrants into the Pharmaceutical/Biologics manufacturing industry in Singapore.

Key Learning Outcomes
Understanding of international practices, safety and regulatory issues related to design and manufacturing of Pharmaceutical / Biologics products and the principles of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
Preparation of Validation testing protocols for equipment, instrumentation, piping systems, automation systems and building facilities.
Certification
DPS, in conjunction with Dublin Institute of Technology (D.I.T.) and Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) training providers have developed a series of training programmes which comprises of WSQ courses and modules in Pharmaceutical/Biologics Manufacturing Technologies (Validation) from degree programmes accredited by D.I.T.
