Re-Skilling Programme (Part-Time)

The part-time Re-Skilling programme provides skills progression pathways for those moving into technical roles across key areas such as Production, Engineering / Maintenance, Quality and Validation within the Pharmaceutical / Biologics Manufacturing industries.

Validation is the key verification process across all technical areas within a Pharmaceutical / Biologics Manufacturing Facility. It defines how the regulations which govern the manufacture of Pharmaceuticals / Biologics are applied and interpreted. A practical understanding of Validation is an essential requirement to assume technical roles in a Pharmaceuticals / Biologics Manufacturing Facility.

The Specialised Training Programmes in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Validation) are designed to train candidates with a Science or Engineering background and who are coming from other industries such as Electronics, Infocommunications, Chemical, Food and Beverage and who are seeking entry through this Re-Skilling Programme to work in the Pharmaceutical / Biologics Manufacturing Industries.

Participants on the Re-Skilling programme complete 5 Modules from the six modules listed below comprising of Module 1, Module 2, Module 3a or 3b, Module 4 and Module 5.

Module 1. Fundamentals of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technologies
Module 2. Commissioning & Qualification of Equipment and Systems
Module 3a. Managing Electronic Data for Computer System Validation
Module 3b. Principles of Pharmaceutical Facility Design
Module 4. Apply cGMP requirements in the workplace
